I stumbled into hospitality by helping my wife fulfill her dream of turning her family's ranch property along the Chama River into a wedding venue. To help us build that business and move to the rural town of Chama, NM we purchased and moved into a roadside motel, Chama Trails Motel. Running these two businesses lead to growth in STR management and owning another boutique hotel with a retail space below. All of these businesses are in the small mountain village of Chama, NM. What started out as a self employed venture with just a couple part time employees has turned into a small hospitality company with 20 employees. When not working on our businesses you will find me in the mountains with my wife and 3 kids, hopefully somewhere out of cell phone range.
