I started my career in hotel operations, working my way up from the front desk to Front Office Manager, Assistant GM, Sales Manager, and eventually Director of Sales for seven hotels across the Phoenix area. That experience taught me how to lead teams, deliver great guest experiences, and keep a business running smoothly.

From there, I moved into hotel training, helping properties implement property management systems - but in 2004, I made a shift. I launched my concrete design company to build things that last. What started as a hands-on studio evolved into a nationally recognized brand known for original, architecturally driven concrete furniture, sinks, and surfaces.

In 2012, I started a rammed earth construction company, bringing an ancient building method into modern architectural work. I also co-founded a concrete materials company focused on high-performance mixes built for artisans, by artisans.

Along the way, I’ve had the chance to judge the design-build TV show Framework on Spike and deliver a TEDx talk on the importance of originality in design. My work has always been about pushing limits, blending craft and concept, and staying rooted in what matters.

Today, I’m developing The Outlier Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas - a luxury boutique hotel built from rammed earth, concrete, and steel. It’s a culmination of everything I’ve done so far, and we’re currently in the funding stage. This project represents not just a place, but a perspective: bold, honest, and built to last.
